Sure the image is blurry, but I think it conveys a strong sense of sadness and loneliness.

Realmente esa foto me ha gustado mucho siempre pero no la había subido hasta ahora por la falta evidente de foco.
Parece que me estoy liberando de los prejuicios de los foros de fotografía, donde he llegado a leer que “sin foco no hay foto” y cosas parecidas….

Eso de la reglas está muy bien para empezar como guía, pero no hay mejor maestro que lo que sientes viendo la imagen (y eso lo hace el tiempo y la sensibilidad de cada cual). Me alegro mucho de que te decidieras porque es una imagen que me gusta mucho (transmite sensaciones que es lo importante, el resto es hacer una fotocopia del mundo). 🙂

Lo se, es la diferencia entre ser un artesano o un artista. Un botijo hecho por un buen artesano será perfecto pero uno hecho por Picasso lo mismo no sirve para beber pero …….. es “otra cosa”.
Ahora a ver como explicas esto en un foro de fotografía sin que se te tiren encima como hienas, los egos son muy delicados y al interpretar irían más allá de lo que he dicho personalizándolo y nada más lejos de querer llamar a nadie “artesanos” o de considerarme yo mismo un “artista”.
Siento el rollo pero hoy estoy quemado.

Tranqui!!! No te preocupes, ya he oído eso muchas veces y de algún foro me he tenido que ir por no oír sandeces. Demasiados sabios hay dispuestos a marcar la ley. Al final, esto es una cuestión de gustos (no hay bueno ni malo, solo te gusta o no te gusta) y, lo principal, es un ejercicio íntimo porque tú eres el que ve y el que interpreta lo que ve plasmándolo en una foto. Si andamos preocupándonos de si les gusta a los demás antes de que si nos gusta a nosotros… mal vamos. Ánimo porque no veo porqué has de preocuparte por lo que piensen los demás. Se ve que le pones pasión y las fotos son muy buenas!!!!

Yes, I’m sure, but that is a matter of aesthetics and my taste. It has nothing to do with your English. I’m Dutch and often have doubts about my English as well. Maybe I should have titled it ‘The lonely smoker’ but I still think LA TRISTEZA DEL FUMADOR has much more poetic impact. Cheers, harrie

Tiene aire como de mirada perdida, de desaliento … quizá ese cigarro le sirva de escape para continuar con su tristeza (ficticia a lo mejor por nosotros).
La trepidación le da más realismo, te fijaste en su cara y en su mirada y disparaste.

Fue con un compacta un tiro muy rápido y con bastante miedito … el colega iba bastante “perjudicao” xDDD
pero a pesar de todo es de las que más me gustan,esta sin esa “neblina” hubiera sido un foto corriente.
