  1. This seems to be a part of Madrid that you shoot within, frequently. For those of us unfamiliar with the city, could you possibly share what the area is known for? It appears largely retail and commercial yet there may be something unique about it that draws you there. 🙂

    • You are right, I shoot many times in the zone because I live at few minutes walking from there.

Anyway the Gran Vía and its zone (Fuencarral street, Hortaleza street, etc..) is the center of town and is full of shops, cinemas, hotels, theatres with musicals and tourists.

The buildings are very nice, remembering the arquitecture of XIX. Near Gran Vía you can go in few minutes to others emblematic sites of Madrid like Alcala street, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, etc …

I can say that is one of the more touristy areas of Madrid. If you come one day to visit the town dont let see it.

Are more places to visit and sure some more important, for example Prado Museum, but you must see the Gran Via,

I hope one day you will visit the Town, that day I will be very honoured to write for you a little guide.

As always, thanks for your comment and excuse me for my bad english, feel free to correct me every time I need it.

      Regards

    • A mi me gusta Madrid aunque puede llegar a ser un pelín estresante, a veces quiero salir de aquí pero al poco tiempo deso volver.
Supongo que es una relación amor/odio

  8. I recently told someone that I think it’s impossible to make an unimpactful shot of life in Barcelona. I can its the same for Madrid. Such beautiful character.

    • Im from Madrid but I was working in Barcelona in the past and I love both towns but are different, I prefer the people of Madrid and too the town is more interesting.

      • I had to come back to see this post. I wonder how many people are actually able to realize just how fine these shots really are.
